Health Education

According to Michigan State Law, schools can only provide soap, water, ice (except sickle cell students), band-aids, and comfort (age appropriate) without a physician's order. To administer anything beyond these, a physician order form is required.

Medication Administration Consent

If your child needs to take medication during school hours or during school activities, whether it's over-the-counter or prescription, please ensure a Medication Administration Consent is completed. Please print and fill this out completely before submitting to the school.

We encourage schools to ensure that designated staff members are trained in medication administration. This training should be completed every three years to stay compliant with Michigan State Law and your local school policies.

Medical Action Plans
