Communications Academy

Consisting of nine distinct classes, each approximately 90 minutes long, the sessions cover various aspects of school and district communications such as communications planning, crisis communications, media relations, and social media. 

These classes are designed to be taken sequentially, building upon one another. All sessions are recorded, allowing participants to revisit them or catch up on any missed content.

• Session 7: Marketing & Branding
• Session 8: Internal Communications

The classes are led by five partners from the Donovan Group, who are among the most knowledgeable and experienced school and district communications consultants in the United States.

Communications Academy Schedule

The Communications Academy is $450 per person or less*.

*Each ISD that has registered for the Crisis Communications Service receives 5 seats at the Communications Academy ($2,250 value). Additional Communications Academy seats for those ISDs (and their constituent districts) are available at a discounted rate of $375 each.
